The present invention relates to an antiseptic composition for moist towelettes and moist towelettes comprising the same, and more specifically, to an antiseptic composition for moist towelettes comprising one or two or more kinds of a) hexamidine diisethionate, or b) dibromohexamidine diisethionate. The moist towelettes prepared according to the present invention, by comprising one or two or more kinds of hexamidine diisethionate or dibromohexamidine diisethionate, shows excellent antiseptic effects against various microorganisms generated during the manufacturing process for moist towelettes. Also, by significantly reducing or completely eliminating the use of quaternary ammoniums such as cetylpyridinium chloride, the present invention can reduce foaming and the occurrence of pop-up problems when using the moist towelettes. Further, the present invention can significantly improve upon problems of dispersion and slimy feel that are typical of conventional moist towelettes produced using antiseptic compositions containing cetylpyridinium chloride.
