The investigation on human Taeniasis/Cysticercosis in village of eastern Qinghai Province

Objective To understand and analyze the current epidemiological situation of human Taeniasis/Cysticercosis in village of Qinghai province.Methods The survey of epidemiological factors was used by questionnaire.Taeniid eggs from human faeces was detected by scatoscopy,and copro-antigen and the serum of human cysticercosis IgG were examined by ELISA.Results The infection rate of Taenia was 0.33%(2/598) and the Copro-antigen positive rate was 9.18%(47/512) of 766 samples;the serum positive rate of human cysticercosis examined was 4.14%(27/652).Conclusion The epidemiological situation of Taeniasis/Cysticercosis in this area is still serious.
