1995 national heat transfer conference: Proceedings. Volume 5: Heat transfer in aerospace devices or systems; Heat pipes and thermosyphons; Gas turbine heat transfer; HTD-Volume 307

1995
Papers in the first section present current research in topics such as meniscus subjected to a transient acceleration field, natural convection in a thermosyphon, a capillary pumped loop, and a mathematical model of axially grooved heat pipes. The papers in the second section deal with diverse topics included single-phase, two-phase, and supercritical heat transfer in component cooling, phase-change mechanisms in adverse g-fields, and numerical modeling of heat transfer in propulsion systems. The last section contains papers on heat transfer in gas turbines. Separate abstracts were prepared for most papers in this volume.
