2014
The sharing of individual employees' knowledge into the organization plays an important role in developing corporate core competence. In this process, knowledge sharing from subordinates to their supervisors becomes a key process of knowledge sharing within organizations. Based on the cognitive theory and relational theory, the paper studies the relationship between employees' extraversion personality and their upward knowledge sharing behaviors directed to supervisors. Using a sample of 342 groups from a variety of industries, results show that extraversion is positively related to intention to voice and interactional justice, which in turn, increases knowledge sharing to supervisor. It also finds a moderating role of leader' s creativity in the relationship between intention to voice / interactive justice and knowledge sharing.
