Study of Discrepancy of Physiology and Ecology between Three Pod-types on Peanut

The difference of physiological and ecology features was studied between pod-types and between cultivate ways for peanut, the results showed that the sprout leaf speed neatly was rapid and pods growth was early comparatively with small fruit-type. But the seedling was strong with bigger pod-type, and the branches number, needle number, pods number and the accumulation of dry matter were greater than that of other pod-types, and the yield of bigger pod-type was highest, while that of small pod-type was lowest. The growth and development was faster in membrane covered culture than that of uncovered culture. The heighth, branche number, peg number, pods number, the weight of pods and plant and root tumour number as well as leaves area etc. were higher in membrane covered culture than that of uncovered culture obviously on peanut. The yield of membrane covered culture was also higher than uncovered culture apparently, and the range of increasing yield was biggest with bigger pod-type, reached 44.0%, but the range of increasing yield was lowest with small pod-type.
