O ENSINO DE CIÊNCIAS NA CLASSE HOSPITALAR: IDENTIFICAÇÃO DA LITERATURA E ANÁLISE DA TEMÁTICA PRESENTE NOS ARTIGOS SCIENCE TEACHING FOR HOSPITALIZED CHILDREN: ANALYSIS OF MAIN SUBJECTS IN THE LITERATURE

The analysis of teaching programs for hospitalized children has not been conveniently exploited in science education research, in spite of its importance. Lack of review studies and the wide scope of contributions from distinct areas of knowledge are at the root of the problem, as we must deal with a multidisciplinary and complex subject. Based upon a bibliographic search in Brazilian and foreign journals, we offer an overview of the field of school teaching programs for hospitalized children. We began by identifying a number of preliminary questions to guide a thematic analysis of the available bibliography. The results revels a considerable amount of contributions, both in the fields of education and that of health.
