Study on Phase Tranfer Catalytic Synthesis of N,N-Diethylaniline With n-Decylltriethyl Ammonium Bromide

n-Decylltriethyl Ammonium Bromide as phase transfer catalyst,N,N-diethylaniline is synthesized by reaction of aniline with bromoethane under atmospheric pressure.The factors affecting the yield of the target product have been studied.The optimal reaction condition is that in 30% sodium hydroxide solution,1 molar aniline,1.75 molar bromoethane,and 0.01 molar catalyst was reacted at 85 ℃ and normal atmosphere,the yield of N,N-diethylaniline is 82.4%.
