Effect of Herbicide Mixtures on Weeds in Kharif Maize (Zea mays L.) under Middle Gujarat Conditions

Maximum weed control efficiency (>98%) was achieved with pre-emergence application of atrazine at 0.5 kg ha−1 in conjunction with pendimethalin @ 0.25 kg ha−1 closely followed by atrazine+alachlor each applied at 0.5 kg ha−1. Similar trend was observed in grain and stover yields. net realization and CBR values.
