서울지하철 2호선 혼잡도 완화방안 기초연구

Seoul Subway Line 2 consists of a Circle Line transporting more than 2million people. Especially trains during morning peak hour have very high congestion rate up to 200% of the riding capacity of passengers. This Line has 43 stops with route length 48.8Km and has performed the role of a central line with 20 transfer stations to the other Lines in Seoul Metropolitan area. In addition, wide area express railway like GTX and light rail transits are planning to construct in the near future, are expected to aggravate further congestion of the Line 2. We looked into the way to mitigate Congestion that has been pursued in the Seoul Metro and analyze the expected effects. And we investigate and analyze the overseas case to provide 90 seconds of high-frequency train service in Moscow Metro. Also we draw the alternatives that can be incorporated into the desires of Seoul Metro to mitigate Congestion from Moscow metro case.
