El impacto del sector inmobiliario en los procesos de gentrificación en la colonia Juárez, Ciudad de México

Urban transformations related to gentrification processes in Latin American cities have been approached from different theoretical perspectives to try to explain the causes of the origin of this process. One of these perspectives is the rent gap pursued by real estate agents, who seek to obtain greater potential income from the land, generating population displacement. Based on information on real estate projects and through the application of semi-structured interviews to the population affected by this dynamic, the consequences generated in a central neighborhood in Mexico City are analyzed.
