Index of environmental quality for land management.

This paper refers to a methodological study whose goals are to provide integrated information to be used as an environmental index. The aim of this study is to contribute to the determination of a methodology which, by the investigation of a few descriptive parameters pertaining to forests, would be able to judge the objective quality independent from consideration based on a single experiment or from the analysis of a data survey.
