A novel pillared double-layered Pb(II) coordination polymer based on 1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylic acid and dipyrido[3,2-a:2′,3′-c]-phenazine-2-carboxylic acid

Abstract A fascinating pillared double-layered three-dimensional lead(II) coordination polymer [Pb 2 (BTC)(DPPZC)] n ·2nH 2 O ( 1 ) has been prepared through hydrothermal reaction of lead(II) nitrate with the mixed ligands 1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylic acid (H 3 BTC) and dipyrido[3,2-a:2′,3′-c]-phenazine-2-carboxylic acid (HDPPZC). The photoluminescent property and thermal stability of 1 were also investigated.
