Dataset of flood event in Houay Pano catchment, Laos on June 16th, 2014

We investigated how overland flow associated to a flood event impacts dissolved organic carbon (DOC) concentration, its optical characteristics and aquatic bacteria community structure in Houay Pano stream, Laos. We collected stream water in upstream and downstream at different stages of the storm flow event to assess the change in DOC concentration and composition and bacterial community. Here we present a series of environmental data, hydrological data and diversity data from the water samples.
