The purpose of this study is primarily to consider education for design thinking provided by the university this researcher is affiliated to regarding the cases of ‘Design and Creative Ideas' class opened in other departments. About the method of this study, it is conducted in the order of literature review, class design, class provision, and arrangement of class results. The class was provided to freshmen in D University from 2015 until 2016. When the class was planned, the model to learn visualization designed by this researcher was applied to education for design thinking. According to the results of class provision, when visualization is applied to education for design thinking, it is possible to be free from stereotyped thinking and approach problems in a new way; therefore, it is found to be effective in education for original and creative thinking. Also, students accustomed to language-based thinking due to school education will have to practice visual thinking, too. Education for design thinking is the core of education for creativity since it is the process of solving programs in a systematical and integrative way. This researcher aims to prove that design thinking will form thinking skills that can lay the grounds for solving problems and finding answers regardless of one’s major afterwards.
