Event-Triggered Feedback Control for Continuous-Time Switched Affine Systems

2021
In this paper, the problem of event-triggered control for continuous-time switched affine systems is investigated. The asynchronous switching occurs because the event-triggered sampling mechanism causes the mismatch between the active subsystem and the controller. Based on the asynchronous event-triggered sampling condition, sufficient conditions are provided for the asymptotic stability of switched affine systems to the equilibrium points. These conditions are formulated in the form of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Then, a quadratic cost function for optimizing control performance is formulated. Finally, an example is given to illustrate the advantages of our established results.
