Clinical research of diagnosing breast cancer with high-frequency ultrasonography and mammography

Objective: To access the utility of ultrasonography combining with mammography in diagnosis of early breast cancer.Methods:136 cases of breast cancer confirmed histologically after operation were all preoperative performed with mammography and ultrasonography,and the results were compared and were analyzed contrasting with the histologically results.Results: Sensitivity of diagnosing breast cancer with ultrasonography mammography were 86.0% and 74.3% respectively.Sensitivity of ultrasonography combining with mammography was 92.6%.Conclusion: Complementation of ultrasonography and mammography can significantly enhance the diagnosis rate of breast cancer.
