P‐46: New Display Driving Method for Reducing Motion‐Blur Using Compact Arithmetic Circuits

We have developed a new display driving method called Dual Picture Controlled Frame-Rate Doubling (DPC-FRD) and installed it in a prototype 52″ LCD TV. We have verified that DPC-FRD enables the prototype TV to display moving pictures with less motion blur, without reduction of brightness and without large area flicker.
