Labeling apparatus and methods for labeling plastic containers in the blow mold in a rotary blow molding machine

The invention relates to a labeling device for labeling plastic containers in the blow mold as well as a labeling for use of the labeling apparatus according to the invention. Characterized in that the rotating insertion device of the labeling apparatus comprises articulated arms, on each of which a gripper is rotatably mounted, labels can be removed at a comparatively low relative speed from fixed magazines. Likewise, the joint arms of the trajectory of the blow molding while inserting the labels can be followed at high speed. Simultaneously, the rotatable mounting of the gripper enables an exact radial orientation of the gripper with respect to the rotational axis of the further rotating of the label during insertion blow wheel. This allows a particularly accurate and reliable labeling.
