Macrokinetic Analysis of the Drying of Particulate Materials

The fundamentals of macrokinetic analysis of the thermal drying of particulate materials are considered. The collection of integrated kinetic data for the drying of fine powders is discussed. Design equations are presented for moving-, fluidized-, and fixed-bed driers.
