: Qualitative and quantitative methods of analysis of two new amino acid derivatives, potential anticonvulsants of low neurotoxicity: N-acetyl-gamma-aminobutyric acid benzylamide (1) and N-melhyl-gamma-aminobutyric acid benzylamide (2) were developed.
