CLINICAL APPLICATIONS OF LASERS IN DENTISTRY - A REVIEW

Lasers can be effectively used in dentistry due to their ability to cut, incise and ablate hard and soft tissues. Other inherent properties of laser light, such as selective absorption, coagulation, sterilization and stimulatory effects on vital structures offer some advantages over traditional techniques, making lasers the treatment of choice in dentistry.
