Study on the Adsorption Performance of Silicone Softeners with Different Molecular Structures

The silicone adsorption on the fabric and the rollers was studied through testing the silicone contents.The relations of four kinds of silicone softeners structures and their adsorptive capacity were investigated.The results showed that the adsorption of amino-modified silicone softener on the rollers and fabric was higher than poly-ether amino-modified silicone softener.As the washing time increased,more and more silicone molecules were adsorbed on the rollers;however,the more complex the side chain structures were,the less silicone molecules were absorbed.
