A contribuição das aulas de educação física para o desenvolvimento das inteligências múltiplas

This article aims to identify the stimulus for the development of Multiple Intelligences during the Physical Education classes of a sixth grade class from a public school in the Municipality of Maravilha, SC. Systematized observations were made in 19 classes, after which analyzes were made based on the theory proposed by Gardner (1995). By means of the data collection instruments and their comparison with the theory, it was possible to conclude that the classes observed included seven of the eight types of intelligences, with Space Intelligence predominating, followed by Corporal-kinesthetic, Interpersonal and Intrapersonal, and Intelligence Musical during classes observed. It is noticed that the Physical Education classes in the School, when planned with quality, have the potential to stimulate the development of the Multiple Intelligences and, with that, to contribute in the integral formation of the student.
