Method and apparatus for energy efficient operation of secondary dedusting

The invention relates to a control method for a secondary dust collection in which a pipe network connects an induced draft fan with at least two suction points. The pipe network comprises for each extraction point a controllable exhaust damper whose damper position affects the volume flow at the extraction. By means of a mathematical model of the pipe network, the method allows the energy-efficient control of the exhaust valves and the induced draft fan.
