Spark plug, in particular for an internal combustion engine, comprising a housing, a disposed in the housing insulator having an axial bore, one arranged in the axial bore of the insulator center electrode, the spark plug having a longitudinal axis, and wherein at least one spark gap between the center electrode and the housing is formed, wherein the radio link is substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the spark plug and at a distance to the longitudinal axis of the spark plug.
