On the basis of a luminance ratio of a subject, a distance to the subject is estimated using an image acquired by means of the image sensor (101) when merely the LED light source (102) is made to emit light, an image acquired by means of the image sensor (101) when merely the LED light source (103) is made to emit light, and an image acquired by means of the image sensor (101) when merely the LED light source (104) is made to emit light.
