Audit of Rectal Cancer in a tertiary cancer hospital of Nepal

INTRODUCTION: Rectal cancer is a major health related burden worldwide. Although it is considered a disease of old age, the rectal cancer presentati on in young age is quite common in B P Koirala memorial Cancer Hospital. The purpose of this study was to find out the demographic factors of the patients of rectal cancer and the statistical status of the disease, which will help to plan preventi on, treatment and palliati on of this cancer in Nepal
