Interfacing Microchip CE with ICPMS for Element Speciation

A microchip based electrophoresis separation system was interfaced with an inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer. The feasibility of this hybrid method for rapid elemental speciation was demonstrated by the rapid on-line separation of Cr(III) and Cr(VI).
