Effects of PVA content on the synthesis of Y2NiMnO6 by sol–gel method

2015
Y2NiMnO6 nanoparticles were synthesized via a sol–gel route based on polyvinyl alcohol. Differential scanning calorimetry, thermogravimetry, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, Raman spectroscopy and environmental scanning electron microscopy were utilized to characterize precursors and derived powders. Effects of polyvinyl alcohol content on the formation of Y2NiMnO6 were investigated. The best ratio of hydroxyl groups to positively charged valences for the synthesis is 1.5 in our work.
