A method for fluid-assisted control of a transmission actuator and apparatus therefor

2006
A method for fluid-assisted control of a transmission actuator unit (2) and an apparatus therefor, in which by means of a transmission actuator unit (2) for driving a transmission (1) with variably controllable or adjustable system pressure, both the wear of pressurized components is reduced and the fluid loss in case can be minimized leakage. Further, it is possible to influence by adjusting the fluid pressure or system pressure, the actuating times of the actuators (6) and of the entire system in an advantageous and cost-effective manner and, optionally, certain, required by the prior art devices such as pressure reducing valves save. Finally, it can be improved in special situations, such as a low standing available maximum pressure or low standing available maximum fluid flow the operability of the transmission actuator unit (2). The transmission actuator unit (2) illustrates the through the pressure-generating device (8) applied fluid pressure or system pressure for actuating at least one actuator (6) depending on operating situation-dependent parameters. By appropriate selection and optionally combination of parameters, various advantages can be achieved. Some parameters and their advantages are presented. Next, an apparatus for implementing the method according to the invention is described.
