Intelligent address input method and system

The invention provides an intelligent address input method and system. The method comprises the steps that firstly, a terminal receives an input operation instruction of a user, inputs multiple address keywords in an address input box and matches the address keywords with a preset address database in sequence according to the input sequence of the address keywords; secondly, when the preset address database contains the input keywords, addresses containing the input keywords are displayed through choice boxes; when one of the addresses displayed in the choice boxes is selected, the selected address is displayed in the address input box. By the adoption of the method, since a detailed address is partitioned for input and search matching, the number of words input in the address input process can be reduced, the mistyping rate is lowered, and great convenience is brought to users.
