In the internal structure of sports cooperation / opposition common space and simultaneous participation converge various
elements that have a constant presence: a space with subspaces and goals to be achieved and protected, a time frame in which to
try to achieve the goals of the game, teammates and opponents to interact simultaneously, and a mobile force whose possession
the various strategic behaviors. This structural complexity makes their education raises many questions.
In this paper we analyze the internal structure of these sports and situations used in teaching Handball and Five a Side Soccer. The
research was conducted using both a theoretical: interpretive and praxiological. How methodological strategy we have used the
case study, seeking to know the structural characteristics of teaching situations, their correspondence with the internal structure of
these sports, and the implicit concepts have coaches on those questions. The research techniques used were systematic
observation and interview. The results show that the coaches have a partial view of the internal structure of their sports, and how this
is reflected in the type of teaching situations they employ.
