Clinical Effect of Mannatide Capsules in Treatment of Leukopenia Caused by Antithyroid Drugs

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of the Mannatide capsules in treatment of leukopenia caused by antithyroid drugs.Methods:128 patients with hyperthyroidism in our hospital from 2010 August to 2012 December were randomly divided into treatment group and control group. Each group consisted of 64 patients.The treatment group were taken Mannatide Capsules orally, and the control group were taken Diyushengbai tablet orally and for a period of 2 months.Results:The total effective rate of treatment group is 92.19% which is significantly higher than that of the control group(P0.05).The number of peripheral white blood cell count and neutrophil cells of the treatment group were significantly higher than control group(P0.05).And the onset time of the treatment group was obviously shortened than that in the control(P0.05).Conclusion:Mannatide can treat leukopenia caused by antithyroid drugs which is better than that of Diyushengbai tablet. Mannatide can increase the amount of peripheral white blood cells and neutrophils quickly and improve the clinical symptoms.
