Synthesis and crystal structure of NdH(PO3H)2

The crystal structure of NdH(PO 3 H) 2 , prepared from a neodymium-containing melt of phosphorous acid at 90°C, is determined. The crystals are monoclinic, space group P21/c, a = 8.3332(7) A, b = 9.2161(9) A, c = 8.8590(9) A, β = 114.77(2)°.
