Effects of small dose of anisodamine and cimetidine for infant diarrhea: a report of 81 cases

Objective To determine the therapeutic effect of small dose of anisodamine and cimetidine for infant acute diarrhea therapy.Method Eighty-one infants diagnosed as acute diarrhea were randomized to the test group(n=42) and the control group(n=39).The curative effect of the two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate of the test group was 95.2% and the control group was 69.2%.There was significant difference between the two groups.Conclusion The curative effect of small dose of anisodamine and cimetidine outweighs the conventional therapy for the infant acute diarrhea.The method deserves clinical application generalizationly.
