An experimental and theoretical study of the ionization energies of Ru2(O2CCF3)4 and Ru2(O2CCF3)4(NO)2

Abstract The HeI and HeII photoelectron spectra of Ru 2 (O 2 CCF 3 ) 4 and Ru 2 (O 2 CCF 3 ) 4 (NO) 2 are reported and ionization energies of Ru 2 (O 2 CH) 4 and Ru 2 (O 2 CH) 4 (NO) 2 are obtained by configuration interaction calculations. The latter provide a consistent assignment of the measured spectra.
