Convenient and Mild Epoxidation of Alkenes Using Heterogeneous Cobalt Oxide Catalysts.

A general epoxidation of aromatic and aliphatic olefins, including renewable olefins such as (R)-(+)-limonene (V), geraniol acetate (VII), and vitamin derivative (IX), are developed.
