A method for traction slip control, wherein upon tendency to spin at least one drive wheel is reduced at least the torque of the drive unit, characterized in that in the starting range takes place, a motor speed control, the setpoint value is predefined as a function of operating variables of the vehicle and the drive unit and is controlled on the drive unit of the vehicle, wherein the target speed is dependent on the running resistance, a minimum speed, a predetermined slip and the optimum transmission ratio.
