Comparison between single level and multilevel calculations of neutron cross sections in the resonance region

The aim of the present paper is a comparison of cross sections and deduced group averaged values resulting from the application of single level and multilevel formulas to the same multilevel resonance parameters. The parameters were partly taken from Karlsruhe Centre's publications and communications and partly from ENDF/B-III. They refer to isotopes or elements of great importance, owing to their utilizations as structural material in reactor construction. (orig.)
