P-156: Microcavity Structures for White RGBW OLED Displays

Microcavity OLED structures can increase on-axis light output and color purity for colored-light emitters. Such microcavity structures can also be effectively employed with unpatterned white-light emitters. The relative performance of such a design is compared to a nonmicrocavity structure. Efficiency, color, and angular performance are measured and discussed.
