Disclosed is a cellulose derivative glass beads reinforced lightweight insulation materials and production method, production of light glass beads of insulation material of the raw material cellulose derivative enhanced the percentage by weight, a 1.9 2.7% sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, 36.0-50.3% glass beads, glass fibers, and 7.2-10.1%, the balance being water, the preparation method by first mixing the sodium carboxymethyl cellulose and the formed water until viscous liquid ; glass beads and the glass fibers were added to the vessel, then added to the resulting viscous liquid, stirred and mixed uniformly, the resulting mixture into a mold, compacted and dried after forming the release temperature 90-100 deg.] C, i.e., to have low density, high insulation properties and high mechanical strength of the cellulose derivative reinforced lightweight glass beads of insulation material, low production cost, simple preparation process technology, no special equipment is suitable for industrial production.
