Based on improving the city’s legibility, the paper puts forward the URT (urban rail transit) square environment design on the requirements of the location, direction, culture and time, Combined with Beijing’s instance, it explore how to handle the legibility of the plaza through spatial layout, design details of buildings and material colors.
