Analysis of Zhuanglang county’s total grain production influencing factors

This article collect two decades total grain production and its associated data of Zhuanglang county from 1991 to 2010,then find main factors which affect Zhuanglang county’s total grain production using the methods of combined mutiple linear regression analysis,stepwise regression analysis and curve fitting.(1) The results show that the most significantly factors which influenced Zhuanglang’s total grain production are grain per mu,grain sown area,terraced area,pesticide consumption and rural labor.(2) Curve fitting show that it is the quadratic relationship between the total grain output and terraced area:total grain output increased with increasing terraced area within a certain range;(3) With the region terraced area stabilized,ecological benefits become even prominent.
