LABELLING OF ORGANIC COMPOUNDS BY U.V. PROMOTED EXCHANGE WITH TRITIUM GAS

In order to accelerate the tritiation of organic compounds exposed to tritium gas, according to the Wilzbach's method, a simple technique, based on the ultraviolet exchange between the gaseous tritium and the organic substrate, was developed. The results obtained for the labelling of a few representative organic molecules and their mixtures are described. (auth)
