Measurement o the optical constants of polydiacetylene toluene sulphonate by ellipsometry

1990
An ellipsometric technique for measuring the optical constants of anisotropic materials has been developed, and used to perform measurements on single crystals of polydiacetylene toluene sulphonate. The results are in good agreement with results obtained from a Kramers-Kronig analysis of reflectance data. The technique is a quick and convenient method for obtaining data, and can be used on samples of relatively poor optical quality.
