KEMAJUAN SELEKSI MASSA PADA JAGUNG (Zea mays L.) KULTIVAR LOKAL KEBO HASIL SELEKSI MASSA YANG DITANAM BERSAMA KACANG TANAH

2019
The purpose of this experiment is to observe of Mass Selection progress in Corn (Zea Mays L) Kebo Local Cultivars from Mass Selection that are planted with peanuts. This experiment was conducted from May to September 2017 on the Mataram University experimental field in Nyur Lembang village, Narmada district, West Lombok Regency. The method used in this experiment is an experimental method with experiments in the field. This experiment was designed using a rendomized complete blok design (RCBD) which consists of 5 treatments which are :C0 (Initial Cycle), C1 (First Cycle), C2 (Second Cycle), C3 (Third Cycle) and C4 (Fourth Cycle). Each treatment was repeated 3 times to produce 15 treatments. The parameters observed were time of tasseling, time of silking, plant height, leaf number, stem diameter, harvest time, ear length, ear diameter, seed dry weight and weight of 1000 seeds. The data were analyzed using analysis of variance and in further testing using the LSD (the Smallest Significant Difference) at the 5% real level. The results showed that the selection progress was linear and real, time of tasseling, time of silking, plant height, harvest time, ear length, and the 1000 seeds weight.
