General survey on physiological function of selenium in plant

Se is a beneficial element to plant and has also some important physiological functions in plants such as stimulating growth,enhancing yield,improving quality,promoting metabolism,anti-oxidization,enhancing the resistance of plants towards stress,antagonizing heavy metals and interacting with other elements.This paper summarizes mainly the advances on physiological functions of Se in plant.
