An efficient synthesis of dexlansoprazole employing asymmetric oxidation strategy

Abstract An alternative and scalable synthesis of dexlansoprazole (( R )-(+)- 1 ); the ( R )-enantiomer of Lansoprazole with an enantiomeric excess of >99.8% is presented.
