Half-life measurements of excited levels in 157, 159, 161Er

Abstract Half-lives of several low-lying levels in 157, 159, 161 Er have been measured using isotopically separated sources of Tm produced by the ISOCELE facility at Orsay, France. Delayed coincidences between internal conversion electrons or between conversion electrons and gamma quanta have been registered. Absolute reduced transition probabilities of γ-transitions have been deduced and compared with single-particle estimates and theoretical values found from model calculations including the Coriolis mixing of states.
