Method, device and system for filtering out webpage advertisements

An embodiment of the invention provides a method, a device and a system for filtering out webpage advertisements so as to effectively filter out the webpage advertisements including non-picture advertisements when users browse webpages. The method includes determining sub resources, belonging to the webpage advertisements, in to-be-requested sub resources according to feedback of a background server, and only initiating sub resource requests for sub resources, not belonging to the webpage advertisements, in the to-be-requested sub resources during initiating of the sub resource requests. By the method, when the users browse the webpages, picture type webpage advertisements can be filtered out, and the webpage advertisements including the non-picture advertisements can be also filtered out effectively, so that all kinds of webpage advertisements on the webpages are filtered out to the greatest extent.
